Stone was striking, one of the closest advisers to trump, stone, a self-proclaimed dirty trickster has long pushed the limits in politics and argued a kind of equivalence for gutter politics. >> one mans dirty trick is another mans political civic action. everything ive ever done has been legal. pol takes aint bean bag and losers dont legislate. >> he was a loyal nixon operative, worked for reagan and ran the consulting firm with you see it there, paul manafort. when trump first flirted running ...

You hoping it will accomplish? >> well, we want everybody to come out and i was -- i came here from a gun rally today where we had hundreds of people in delray beach. everybody was showing their support and were just going to see more of that. people have been saying to us now is not the time to talk about gun control. now is the time to grieve and think about our community and while i dont necessarily agree and while i think not only is it not too early, its way too late. were listening and wer...

Substantive, latest language in terms of the way the policy was going to be shaped. that appears to have precipitated it completely falling apart. the other part of it, though, that im watching is that these activist groups and these organizing groups, some of which are full of people who have never been activists before, these people all over the country who have been pressuring their senators on this stuff, theyre planning on still keeping up the pressure tomorrow and through the rest of this ...

And now theyll never have to say theyre for it or against it. >> two things interesting to me as we got this breaking news tonight. one was that your words were ringing in my ears from thursday night when you were talking about ted cruz being the author of the substantive new parts of this bill. and we sort of laughed together about how, oh, yes, well, senator cruz has such a record of passing things through the senate. everybody likes ted cruz, and theyll like what he did. i mean ted cruz did a...
