Last Friday, first-years, welcomed to Queen’s, music | surprise performer.

The event, which was part of Gael pre-week, was a performance by hypnotist Boris Cherniak, who goes by the stage name “Incredible Boris.” The event—which took place at Etherington Auditorium on Aug. 28—was well attended by Gaels, orientation chairs, and student leaders. Audience members could choose to partake in the performance by being hypnotized.

In the last AMS Assembly, changes were brought forth to return the Orientation Roundtable (ORT) budgeting process to its pre-COVID state.

AMS Assembly gathered Thursday evening in Beamish Munro Hall to discuss student operations in the aftermath of the AMS Executive election.

The final AMS Assembly of 2022 convened Dec. 1 in Mitchell Hall immediately following the Corporate General Meeting.

As students were welcomed into the Queen’s community this September, some Nursing Orientation leaders faced challenges with accommodations for Orientation Week.
