Cooperstown Elementary School principal Amy Malcuria is slated to serve a dual role as interim principal of the villages high school after Owen Kelso Jr. stepped down last week.

The Cooperstown Central School District Board of Education accepted the resignation of Owen Kelso Jr. as Cooperstown Junior-Senior High School principal Wednesday, Dec. 20.

When a coach collapsed on the sidelines at a varsity football game, athletic trainer Logan Post and his two students Frederick Kweon and Owen Kelso jumped in to help.
