Power to thousands of customers. 20 minutes ago there were 17,000 outages system ride from eureka to kern county. Bay area numbers have gone to more than 9000. The biggest outages in fremont with more than 3500. The peninsula more than 2400. San francisco more than 2300. There have been 1000 lightning strikes in the bay area. You can see the clouds as we start out tuesday morning. San jose, highs up to 85. Not as hot as yesterday, but still humid. 91 in concord, 73 in San Francisco. Napa, 70 degrees.
