Feedback: Majestic Tapestry, a Cinderella worth revisiting

An album for the ages Mikael Wood’s story about the making of “Tapestry” [“Woven in Time,” Feb. 7] was fascinating to someone who as a college freshman listened to the album dozens if not hundreds of times. “Tapestry” helped get me through a homesick and lonely first year of college. I loved the lyrics, the music, all of it. I sang along with Carole [King] and felt every emotion she was expressing. Thank you for telling the story of this very powerful album and the talented artist who created it along with the other musicians and professionals who made it happen.

Photo Contributed Recently, Oakdale Sunrise Rotary, affectionately known as the “Small but Mighty” Club, answered the call for donations from Oakdale Rescue Mission, ORM. They were requesting any type of winter clothing to provide to the local homeless, so that they could stay warm in the winter. Requested items ranged from flannels to jackets, thermal underwear and gloves, and anything else that might help.
