(CNS News) – Parents, particularly those of the Muslim community, have had enough of the LGBTQ-affirming books circulating in the public schools of Dearborn, Michigan. This week, a father of three kids in Dearborn, Hassan Shami, rallied parents to oppose LGBTQ ideology in schools and make known it is not homophobic but “all it is, is protecting our children.”

A survey found the majority of school leaders rate parents as either “poor” or “fair” at teaching their children about controversial issues.

The Palm Beach County School Board voted Tuesday, approving masks becoming mandatory for all students except those who fall under the ADA or with a 504 plan.
