A judge just declared that 84-year-old Andrew Lester must stand trial for shooting and injuring now 17-year-old Ralph Yarl. Lester telling 911 he was in fear of a “tall Black man” trying to break into his home confirmed everything we knew already: Yarl was racially profiled.

Mississippi 11-year-old Aderrien Murry is the latest to have a nearly fatal encounter with police after being mistaken for a suspect.

Rockford Police Officer Bradley Lauer will NOT be criminally charged for his use of force against a 14-year-old Rockford student in 2021. Lauer slammed the Auburn High School student’s head on the floor, fracturing their skull.

The Rockford Police Officer who slammed an Auburn High School student to the ground has been cleared of any charges.

“You’re trying to intimidate,” former-board member Michael Connor said to Stange after he swung at him outside of the meeting. Now, the lawsuit alleges that the school board tried to intimidate Moore’s family to get them not to sue.

Prosecutors are reviewing a Rockford police officers use of force for potential criminal charges after a teen was left brain damaged.

“Unfortunately, Parris has some permanent brain damage as a direct result of this incident,” said Al Hofeld Jr., the attorney representing the Rockford,

“I was so angry. I just want something done with this officer that did this because he could have killed my grandson."
