Both the Atwater Public Library and Sibley State Park still held fun and educational solar eclipse events on April 8, despite an impenetrable layer of clouds blocking the view.

Both the Atwater Public Library and Sibley State Park held eclipse viewing events April 8, 2024, even though the weather was less than cooperative.

While Minnesota will only see 60% to 80% coverage of the sun during the total solar eclipse April 8, a handful of events and activities are being held to mark the celestial occasion.
