Curfews are intended to keep kids safe, but do they?
Philadelphia City Council recently passed a stricter version of an existing juvenile curfew that requires older teens to be inside by 10 p.m. this summer. Some advocates and researchers say it’s unfair to kids and won’t reduce gun violence.
