Cheryl Hoefs has joined Mission Produce Inc. as senior vice president of sales and marketing to support the company’s overarching corporate strategy and to drive profitable growth. In addition, Mission promoted several senior leaders within the sales department, including Brooke Becker, Patrick Cortes and Hector Soltero to vice president positions, and Roberto Rodriguez to director of international exports.

Mission Produce has announced that Cherly Hoefs is joining the team as Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing (SVP).

Ventura’s Petty Ranch has cultivated about 185,000 pounds of avocados so far this year. Mission Produce sorts, packs, and distributes the fruit to retail chains statewide. Yeastie Boys Bagels uses 175-225 avocados during a typical five-day period.

With more than 4,000 hectares of avocados across three ranches in the premium growing regions of Peru, Oxnard, CA-based Mission Produce has an enhanced supply chain to meet the strong demand during the summer months, according to Patrick Cortes, senior director of business development and foodservice.
