A firefighter who retired with total disability benefits for a back injury cannot later seek workers’ compensation when his hearing fades, the court ruled.

Upon arresting a Frederick man in connection to several opioid overdoses, authorities allegedly found drugs, cash and a stolen gun where he resided.
