Happy St. Patrick’s Day to you! We’ll try to keep the rain showers away, but, hey, if one occurs maybe a rainbow and a pot of gold for St. Paddy’s Day? A typical spring day is in the offing, I’d say.

If the chilly air is getting to you, hang on: Our last low in the 20s should be tonight, with highs later this afternoon in the “warm” low 40s.

Some of us enjoyed a white Christmas but most in our area did not but saw some snowflakes in the air. Snow covered most of Clark County the day after Christmas, so I’ll let you determine if we had an official white Christmas where you were.

I hope everyone had a good Thanksgiving. At least the weather wasn’t all that bad: partly sunny with increasing clouds. The rain held off until 8 p.m. or so and was on the lighter side of things.

Happy Thanksgiving! We certainly have a basket full of blessings to think about even with living in another pandemic year. I’ll just do my part on the weather stuff, and you can do the rest. We live in perhaps an ideal region with a mild temperate climate. Yes, it rains but that is what keeps us green and fresh.

It was a hot one on Tuesday, with a record 95 degrees here in Vancouver. What a way to welcome the first day of June. It was expected to be near 90 degrees Wednesday, which is still in the hot category. A cooling trend begins in earnest today and runs through the upcoming weekend.
