LaBrent Chrite is leaving the school for a new job in Massachusetts. Another press release from the board says Dr. Chrite will leave at the end of the academic year to serve as president at Bentley University, a private university in the city of Waltham, Massachusetts—which is just 13 miles west of Boston. Serving as president of this historic Black university has been a remarkable and rewarding experience and one I will always cherish, Dr. Chrite said in the release. According to a press release from Bentley University, Dr. Chrite was chosen to be the school s ninth president following a nationwide search.
