African Marine Solutions Group (Pty) Ltd [AMSOL], a market leader in marine solutions in Africa, is pleased to announce the appointment of Dan Ngakane to the role of Chief Executive Officer, effective 1 July 2023.  His appointment follows AMSOL’s deliberate succession planning processes and is the result of an extensive recruitment process involving candidates from a variety of industries in the region. Dan will replace outgoing CEO Paul Maclons who has been at the helm for 17 years.

The new board was elected by IBIA members earlier this year, with the results announced at the annual IBIA dinner in February.
