Bridgehead, the coffeehouse chain with many locations in Ottawa, will no longer include managers in tip pools after the issue went to a recent staff vote.

Following a company vote, Bridgehead Coffee shops will no longer require baristas to split their tips with managers.

Baristas and shift supervisors at Ottawa's Bridgehead coffeehouses who just got minimum wage boosts are being unfairly punished by a new policy that adds managers to their tip pools, according to the Ottawa & District Labour Council.
