Bahrain launches world's first eCheque system

The Central Bank of Bahrain (CBB) has launched the worlds first electronic cheque system, BECS, that caters to individual, as well as corporate bank customers. It is being implemented by Benefit Company, a key fintech services firm in the kingdom.
