Residents in two East lancashire care homes had their spirits lifted following a visit by a group of friendly alpacas.

Bosses at Pendle Brook Care Home, part of the Rochcare group, said the consistent hard work of its staff has been recognised through an official rating by the Care Quality Commission (CQC).
