Declining enrollment leaves school districts in Colorado with an abundance of vacant buildings

Storms wreaked havoc in the West Valley Thursday, snapping trees and leaving thousands without power.

Powerful monsoon storms moved through the Valley Thursday night, leaving behind damage in multiple areas in the western part of the Phoenix metro area. Peoria High School has canceled class Friday.

The downed power lines wiped out electricity to more than 4,000 homes and businesses overnight.
