It is against state law for dogs to be in a restaurant in unincorporated areas of Palm Beach County unless it is a service dog. But that may change.

“We all know it is happening now,” said Jared Taylor, the agent for the restaurant chain, who urged the commissioners to amend its zoning code. “This is needed to legalize it and to regulate it.”  There has been little, if any, enforcement of the law that bars doggie dining at outside patios.
