Wife of the Ebonyi State governor, Mrs. Uzoamaka Nwifuru said that 130 scrotal hernia patients in Ebonyi would undergo medical surgery in the state this week.

Ebonyi State Health Insurance Agency (EBSHIA) says it has enrolled no fewer than 4,000 pregnant women across the 13 Local Government Areas (LGAs) in the state into its health insurance scheme. Dr Divine Igwe, the agency’s Executive Secretary, said this in Abakaliki while briefing newsmen after an enrolment exercise in Ohaukwu LGA. Igwe said the

“The beneficiaries will access free health services such as antenatal care and child delivery services, including those that involve medical operations.”
