The judge, Sue Sibley, loved the image by Malcolm Richardson and said that it showed fantastic imagination. Brian Whittaker took second place with Left Behind and third place went to Jean Dalton with Dawn at the Beach. Both of Malcolm’s other entries received Seals of Merit; another of Brian’s entries received a Seal; Roy Lambeth received two Seals and further Seals of Merit were awarded to Ian Whatmore, Margaret Cooper, Mary Gardiner and Peter Wood.
