The Butchers Hook pub in Thornbury will not be reopening after lockdown. The high street pub has been closed for much of the last 12 months as a result of the coronavirus pandemic. Opened in 2018, landlord Pete Tiley wanted the traditional wet-led pub to have a focus on quality local drinks and socialising rather than dining.
