Visitors to the Newport's Cliff Walk can now enjoy uninterrupted access to the trail's rugged southern end, following the completion

The drilling process is scheduled to finish in July and the geotechnical company completing the work could spend around two months analyzing samples.

"Voluntary donations will now allow our commission and the city to ensure the visitor experience continues to be enjoyable, memorable and safe."

The City of Newport, RI and the Cliff Walk Commission have introduced a voluntary donation program titled Cliff Walk Together.
