More statewide and national organizations are stepping up to give an Aroostook County border town a boost.

Tuesday’s election in Van Buren resulted in six incumbent officials being reinstated, with only two fresh faces joining the ranks. 

If a town’s Main Street is the heart of a community, the residents are its backbone. Van Buren’s residents have come together to work on several projects to give their town a bit of a makeover.
