HAMPTON — A single-vehicle crash involving a pickup truck that barreled through guardrails and a parking meter kiosk Thursday afternoon is under investigation by the Hampton Police Department. At about 1:27 p.m., Hampton Police Officer Peter Moisakis, stationed at the intersection of Ocean Blvd northbound and Church St., witnessed a white 2022 Chevrolet Silverado pickup

“He’s off the IV, and he’s doing great,” Moisakis said. “His recovery is going well. We’re hoping he’ll be back in his stall in Brentwood sometime this week.”
