In its own words here is how the Charlotte Regional Business Alliance touted Tuesday the announcement that Italy-based electric vehicle charger company Alphitronic chose Charlotte for its U.S. headquarters and 300 jobs. The deal is the latest in the building of an EV hub in the Queen City.

Alpitronic, which calls itself Europe's leader, chose North Carolina over Greenville, South Carolina, and Phoenix for 300 high-paying jobs. It joins Atom Power and Kempower, which announced similar investments in the state.
