MEXICO BEACH, FL - The St. Joe Company announced commencement of development of a new 216-unit apartment community to be a part of its larger master planned community in Mexico Beach, Florida. Site work for the apartment community is underway on the west end of Mexico Beach near U.S. Highway 98 and the town’s public boat ramp. St. Joe is creating the planned apartment community with joint venture partner HomeCorp.
These apartments will join a 42-unit townhome community currently under.

PANAMA CITY BEACH For a few days this week, two roads near Pier Park will be temporarily closed.
According to Kathy Younce, assistant public works director for Panama City Beach, the road closures include all of Philip Griffitts Sr. Parkway and Pier Park Drive past the northmost entrance of the Pier Park Crossings Apartments.
The roads will be closed from 6 a.m. Tuesday until midnight Thursday as crews put the finishing touches on phase one of Philip Griffitts Sr. Parkway and connect it with phase two.
Formerly known as Bay Parkway and sometimes referred to as Back, Back Beach Road, the street currently stretches from State 79 to north of Pier Park Drive, where it will link with a second segment under construction that spans to Nautilus Street.
PANAMA CITY BEACH, FL - The St. Joe Company announced the completion of the second phase of Pier Park Crossings, an apartment community in Panama City Beach, Florida. Along with joint venture partner HomeCorp, St. Joe began construction on the 120-unit phase in December 2019. The now completed 360-unit apartment community is approximately 93% leased. St. Joe has three additional apartment communities currently in various stages of construction.
Also in partnership with HomeCorp, St. Joe recently completed construction on four of the planned 13 buildings at Watersound Origins Crossings, a luxury apartment community near the Watersound Town Center. A significant number of the completed units have been leased and the companies anticipate completing the remaining buildings in phases this year, making those additional units available for lease as they are completed.
