Tripura govt bans manufacture, sale, use of gestation and farrowing crates in pig
The use of improper gestation and farrowing crates confine the pig in a restricted area without providing opportunity for movement resulting in discomfort and stress, which make the animal vulnerable to diseases, Animal Resources Development Departments Special Secretary K. Sasikumar said in a notification.
