South philadelphia man is charged with making terroristic threats tonight after a confrontation with two Police Officers here on the corner of sixth and ritner last night. That 20yearold man remains behind bars tonight but even his own mother says her son is lucky to be alive. Officer Michael Edwards is back patrolling the streets of south philly a night after he was threatened with his life. I didnt know if he had a weapon a95 or a gun. Reporter edwards was sitting in his patrol car at Mifflin Square park when he was approached by a soaking wet 20yearold sharif haines. I asked him to get again if i can help him. His First Response was i should blow your fing head off. Edwards was able to get out of his car, pull his gun and called for backup.
