GOP to host senator

The University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff Project SEARCH held its graduation for seven interns.

State Rep. Vivian Flowers told a citizens group on Thursday night she wasnt against a sales tax aimed at improving Pine Bluff, but was against the Go Forward Pine Bluff-sponsored tax on the ballot on May 9.

The Pine Bluff Urban Renewal Agency board has voted to accept a donation of land at Sixth Avenue and Main Street from Simmons Bank.

This Saturday, the public is welcomed back to Pop Up in the Bluff. The family fun starts at Barraque Street and Third Avenue at 11 a.m. and continues until 3 p.m. There will be displays, arts and crafts, information stations, a variety of food trucks, an estimated 45 vendors, as well as plenty of kids' activities and live music.
