Two Enterprise teachers are finalists for Alabama Teacher of the Year.

The equipment will be going to rural schools in Autauga County and into the vehicles of Autauga County Sheriff’s Office deputies on patrol.

The campus and school building have been tested, and no hazardous, toxic or poisonous substances were found.

The Autauga County Board of Education has an update on the health situation that’s been affecting students at Pine Level Elementary School.

“The inability to pinpoint an exact reason for these adverse reactions is frustrating for everyone,” a statement from school administrators read.

About 40 Pine Valley Elementary students in Autauga County experienced facial swelling and watery eyes.

Autauga County Schools is actively investigating a possible environmental situation at Pine Level Elementary School Friday.

There will be no school on Tuesday for students at Billingsley School, Marbury High School, Marbury Middle School and Pine Level Elementary School.
