The breeder of one of two rottweilers that viciously mauled their owner has hit back at online attacks accusing her of breeding dangerous dogs. 

Australian woman Nikita Piil flooded her social media with loving messages for her two Rottweiler dogs before they viciously attacked her.

A dog breed at the centre of multiple serious attacks in the past year, including a woman who could lose her arm and the death of a five-week-old baby, should be banned, a high-profile MP claims.

Nikita Piil, 31, was savagely attacked by her pet dogs, Bronx and Harlem, at her Perth home on Pitta Corner in Success, at about 4.35pm on Saturday afternoon.
