Playdate creator Panic has launched the Catalog storefront for more games, as well as confirmed a price increase coming next month.

Panic is hosting a Playdate Update on March 7, discussing news about its Catalog and new games for its specialized handheld.

Panic Inc. announced today they have started shipping out new units of their Playdate pocket console along with a brand new video.

The micro-console has been subject to delays but is now on its way to players.

Panic decided to replace all of the existing batteries with packs from a different supplier, which meant they would no longer be ready to ship in time...

A June 2021 Playdate update stream is on the way, and it will offer pre-order information and details and go over more of the system's games.

The presentation will reveal more details about the upcoming handheld, including its Season 1 lineup of games.

The Playdate Update will air on June 8 at 9 a.m. PT on Playdate's YouTube channel. There will be news about pre-orders for the cranky console.
