Telanganas Election Commission extends polling hours for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections to combat heatwave conditions, giving voters an extra hour to cast their ballots. The decision aims to increase voter participation, considering the hot summer and heatwave in the state. This adjustment applies to all 17 Parliamentary Constituencies and comes after the IMDs prediction of continued heatwave conditions until May 6.
