A call to review the hours and noise levels of the south Pembrokeshire Westival festival has fallen on deaf ears.

Controversial plans by a Burnham-On-Sea holiday park to change its premises license and introduce a new stage area for live entertainment have been given the go-ahead this week.

Jordan Lunn of West Midlands Distillery has applied to convert the unit on Powke Lane.  The firm runs Dr Eamers Distillery Bar - a gin bar - on the Waterfront in Brierley Hill and wants to move its distillery from Central Park industrial estate in Netherton to Powke Lane. But a report to Sandwell Councils planning committee notes that the proposal has not gone down well with some neighbours and 15 objections and a 46-signature petition have been submitted against the proposal.
