Private meetings. got lunch with the vice president. got this intelligence briefing that happened today and r there are people who have told time magazine about these briefings, he just sort of poo poos what he hears in these. it is not like the obama administration where there was schedule of meeting after meeting, pool spray after pool spray and it was a much busier schedule. it is curious hes been spending so much time away from the cameras. hell make up for it at the end of the week on thurs...

I contacted davis when the statement first came out about exactly what those threats were. could he give me any detail. lanny would only say "nothing further than the words of the statements." so theyre not putting details to any of this. the president was asked about this just a short time ago in this pool spray. listen to his response. >> i would say hes been threatened by the truth. only been threatened by the truth, by me or his other clients. >> so the president has tweeted on many occasion...

Crisis. he and nancy pelosi -- >> melissa: they dont even have to, they can just dust off the 2006 secure fence act and bring it out. they dont even have to do any new work. in the meantime, we have been telling you before that president trump is right now doing a bill signing. we are hearing from the pool spray that he has made remarks about the border, about the crisis going on, about last night. just as soon as we get those remarks we are going to turn them around and bring them to you on the...

With nobody but president trump himself. we heard during the pool spray during the cabinet meeting earlier today that president trump still wants in a $5.6 billion figure, even though his vice president, mike pence, offered 2.5 billion just days ago. so the white house isnt even on the same page at this point. and number three, i think that this meeting thats going to take place is just sort of offering president trump cover to say weve had a briefing on homeland security, laid out all things h...

The democratic leader going forward behind closed doors or not. >> it tells us that nancy pelosi is a boss. shes bad. our democracy is in good hands if she is leading the house republicans. i think shes had a lot of on the job training, so its also an opportunity to give other people that same benefit. so i think the term limit on her speakership makes sense, given how diverse and, you know, competent this new group of democrats think. it also makes me wonder, given how easy it was for trump to ...

Immediately. like, whos going to leak this. >> i look at that again in contrast with all of these other -- he does this all the time. president trump will have cameras come in to cabinet meetings, and there hes got a clack of cabinet members who say a prayer, often, express how glad they are to be working for the president and how glad they are to be in that capacity. so perhaps he was under the illusion thats what this was going to be. >> hes been steadily taking a lot of the norms of the way t...
