Finland has spoken and the country has chosen its representative for the 67th Eurovision Song Contest. Käärijä, also known as Jere Pöyhönen, will be performing his song Cha Cha Cha in Liverpool, after winning the national final, Uuden musiikin kilpailu (UMK) on Saturday 25 February in Turku.

The seven finalists of the 2023 Contest for New Music UMK were announced today. One of them will represent Finland in the Eurovision Song Contest, which will be held in Liverpool on behalf of Ukraine in May 2023: Keira, Benjamin, Robin Packalen, Lxandra, Käärijä, KUUMAA, Portion Boys. Each of the contest entries of UMK23 artists will be released on its own day, starting tomorrow 12 January 2023.
