Potential Asteroid News Today

The world’s largest asteroid impact structure is buried deep under the Earth in southern New South Wales, Australia, researchers said based on many years of experience in asteroid impact.

According to Nasa, a massive asteroid bigger than the size of the Eiffel Tower is expected to break into the orbit of Earth in over a week. The massive 1,082-foot space rock is on its way to earth and should pass the earth by December 11. Asteroid 4660 Nereus, which is well over 492 feet long and is expected to come within 4.6 million miles of Earth, has caught Nasa's attention.

A 430-foot asteroid called 1994 WR12 is scheduled to slam into Earth's orbital path early next week, according to NASA.

According to some estimates, the old spacecraft was smashed on Nov. 15, resulting in a storm cloud of space debris with 1,500 bits large enough to be tracked.
