A teenager was arrested Saturday for possessing a firearm.

Victory Boulevard will be blocked between Jersey Street and Cebra Avenue from 5:30 to 7:30 a.m., according to a post on the 120th Precinct Twitter feed.

Police reached out for tips in an assault reported on a bus in New Springville in the 121st Precinct.

Officers in the 121st Precinct are credited with seizing the firearm.

The suspect ran away from police but ultimately was arrested, according to authorities.
