The category 4 storm with sustained winds of 155 miles an hour is still about 12 hours away. Its expected to be the most powerful storm to hit florida in more than a century. This is where the hurricane is expected to hit before it passes right over the state of florida. Forecasters are warning of torrential rain, flash flooding, High Winds and possible Storm Surges of 10 15 feet. Surges happen when water moves inland from the coast.
