A Burbank-area fire district may not get the funding it has requested to maintain current fire response services in the face of increased service calls and reduced funding.

The elections department’s latest batch of results included 9,987 total ballots and reflected a turnout rate of 26.84% as of Thursday.

Early voter results indicate the Prescott Joint Parks and Recreation Proposition 1 on the general election ballot will pass.
