Congress, by engaging in illegal spying, by ordering the torture of prisoners. we havent seen pro prosecutions of those officials or a lot of hand ringing about the precedent thats going to be set by not prosecuting those people. so, lets not get on a high horse and say, oh, dear, if we dont prosecute this person, were going to set a bad precedent. that precedent has been set. the difference is that what edward snowden did, in violating the letter of the law, vastly impro improved the situation....
