A Toronto Police undercover operation called Project Paranoid has nabbed seven people, recovered 48 high-end vehicles and laid 150 charges.

Officers say 48 vehicles with a combined value of just under $4 million were recently seized as part of an undercover Toronto police investigation focused on the trafficking, shipping, and re-vinning of stolen vehicles.

A number of businesses in the GTA were identified during their Project Paranoid investigation as locations that stored and sold stolen vehicles before they were shipped abroad, or vinned for resale in Ontario.
