The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) launched PSLV-C56 carrying seven satellites including the primary satellite DS-SAR and 6 co-passenger satellites from Satish Dhawan Space Centre (SDSC) SHAR, Sriharikota on Sunday. Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) has attempted a unique experiment using the fourth stage of the PSLV-C56 rocket, bringing the upper stage down to a lower orbit after successfully launching seven Singaporean satellites on Sunday. After placing the Singaporean satellites in their intended orbit at an altitude of about 536 km, the fourth stage of the PSLV rocket was placed in a lower orbit to ensure its reduced orbital life at an altitude of about 300 km.
