Searchers have recovered the body of a man who drowned in a Beltrami County Lake over the weekend.
The Beltrami County Sheriff s Office says they were notified of a vehicle possibly going through the ice on Lake Irving around 1:00 Sunday afternoon.
Authorities responded to the scene and learned that a set of tire tracks had been located that led to a hole in the ice in an area known to have unstable ice.
Authorities then began searching the area, and divers confirmed that a vehicle had been located below the ice.
The sheriff s office says the man s body was located with the assistance of an underwater ROV (remotely operated vehicle), and recovered around 6:30 Monday night.
