Pune, Apr 10 (PTI) Three persons who allegedly killed a woman engineering student from Pune last month and demanded Rs 9 lakh ransom from her family were debt-ridden and wanted to earn quick money, which prompted them to commit the crime, police said.

A 22-year-old woman engineering student who went missing on March 30 from Pune in Maharashtra has been found murdered in the state's Ahmednagar district, a police official said.
