California rapper G-Eazy was running wild in the shadow of the St. Pete Pier last Saturday when he became the latest hitmaker to play St. Petersburg's ongoing Rise Up concert series. Tampa rapper Pusha Preme opened the show with his band The Wandering Assassins, along with Brooklyn hip-hop group Phony Ppl.

Ybor City’s Loud On 7th has always been one of the historic district’s most robust festivals, and its week-long march continued on Wednesday with “Smoke In Da City,” a concert at Club Skye featuring emcees like Fre$h P, Rico Dreamz, Pusha Preme and more. The festival continues in Ybor City through Sept. 10.
