Mumbai: After receiving a proposal for five alternative locations for multi-level parking lots from Juhu residents, local MLA Amit Satam has written a letter to the BMC to consider one of the options—a BMC garage—to construct a parking lot

Residents say concretisation under their parks will be detrimental to environment, suggest BMC land near Irla nullah

The residents have also written a letter to the BMC chief Iqbal Singh Chahal to reconsider the proposal for parking under the park.

BMC officials on February 2 visited parks in Bandra and Juhu where they planned to make underground parking lot and citizens have taken objection to it.
