A new life guard by the name of SAM — Surf Alert Modules — was on display at a Mindarie beach Wednesday morning utilising new technology to keep notoriously dangerous beaches safe. 

The City of Mandurah and the WA Department of Transport are set to begin annual maintenance dredging of the Mandurah Ocean Entrance.

The Department of Transport (DoT) WA is about to begin the annual Sand Bypassing scheme at Dawesville Cut.

Department of Transport Western Australia has just announced that a record amount of sand has been moved in the annual campaign to provide safe navigation at Mandurah Ocean Entrance and to widen the Town Beach.
