Australia's Prime Minister Antony Albanese said on Tuesday "strong views" were expressed on Russia in a meeting of leaders of the Quad group of countries.

Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi said the US's Indo-Pacific strategy is "doomed to fail," making his remarks while President Joe Biden is in the region to increase engagement with allies and counter China's rise and influence.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will have 23 engagements, including meetings with three world leaders, in around 40 hours of stay in Japan where he will join US President Joe Biden and prime ministers of Australia and Japan at the Quad summit in Tokyo.
